Tony Treubrodt is a researcher working on the Global Terrorism Database (GTD). Presently, Mr. Treubrodt is pursuing his M.S. in Biotechnology with a concentration in Biodefense at the Johns Hopkins University. Though having a strong background in the sciences, his academic interests also include counterterrorism, intelligence, proliferation and dual-use issues relating to biotechnology and biological weapons.
Mr. Treubrodt graduated from the Johns Hopkins University in 2005 with a Bachelors degree in Biophysics. While an undergraduate, he also conducted laboratory research that lead to a publication in the Journal or Molecular Biology and awards for meritorious research. He was born and raised in Flint, Michigan.
