R. Karl Rethemeyer, Ph.D.
Senior Researcher

R. Karl Rethemeyer is a Senior Researcher at the Center for Terrorism and Intelligence Studies. He is an Assistant Professor of Public Administration and Policy at Rockefeller College at the University of Albany , SUNY. He serves as Director of both the Ph.D. in Public Administration and Policy Program and the Masters in Public Administration Program at the University of Albany , SUNY.

Dr. Rethemeyer received his Ph.D. in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University . He holds a Master of Science in Development Studies from The London School of Economics and Political Science and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of Business and a B.A. in International Relations and Economics.

Dr. Rethemeyer's research interests include networks and terrorism, public administration, and public policy. He teaches graduate level coursework in research methodology involving decision models, computerized decision support tools, and major database systems used in public organizations.
